No Churn Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream

We love hot chocolate. It’s a serious Winter staple in our pantry.

If we happpen to run out of it, it’s a real-life crisis around here. No movie is complete without Dad brewing a big old pot of the chocolate good-stuff.

Just because the weather gets hotter in the middle of the year, well that doesn’t mean we still don’t crave a big old batch of the good chocolate-y stuff.

In case it wasn’t already clear, we do.

There’s still a bit of a conundrum though because, well, it is hot outside.

No Churn Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream

Most people don’t crave hot things when it’s hot outside. Especially not a hot drink.

Creamy cocoa is delicious, and while it’s comforting in the cold weather- it’s not exactly refreshing when the daily temps are over 95+ outside each day.

Thankfully, we’ve found a way to get our fix all year long. When the weather warms up, we cool our hot chocolate down and turn it into a creamy dessert.

We lovingly call it Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream.

Rich, creamy ice cream that tastes just like your favorite hot chocolate AND that doesn’t require a churn? That’s a win in my kitchen play book any day.

Studded with mini marshmallows, this Frozen Hot Chocolate Ice Cream version is like a dream by the scoop full.

Don’t miss another sip of your favorite creamy chocolate dessert drink in a cup, ever again, even when the seasons change. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy it cold!
