Salsa is one thing my family and I always agree on.

We always want it!

All of it!

And this pineapple mango salsa is a nice fruity break from the traditional tomato based salsas.

It’s so refreshing from all the fresh fruit- sweet mango and tart pineapple.

This salsa is delicious with tortilla chips or spooned over grilled chicken or fish to make a healthy meal that is big on bold flavors!

How to Make

Pineapple mango salsa is very easy to make once you have chopped the fruit and veggies!

To do it, just stir together the pineapple, mango, tomatoes, peppers, onion, and cilantro in a large bowl until it’s all evenly mixed together.

Stir the lemon juice into the mixture.

Taste and stir in salt and sugar if needed.

Serve chilled with tortilla chips or on top of grilled chicken or fish.

Enjoy!

Serving Suggestions

Like most salsas, pineapple mango salsa is delicious as a dip for tortilla chips or veggies- like carrot and celery sticks, for example.

But we also love it spooned on top of:

Storing

Store leftover salsa in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Tips and Tricks

  • Don’t have a lemon? Use lime juice instead. You could even use freshly squeeze orange juice in a pinch. Just make sure you are using some sort of citrus juice to help the fruit break down a bit.
  • Add some kick with a diced jalapeno.
  • Not a fan of cilantro? Add fresh parsley instead.
