Like most kids, my kids can’t get enough of the PBJ flavor combo.
For awhile when they were little, I worried they turn into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
Their love of those flavors inspired this delicious movie night snack.
If you are tired of basic buttered popcorn, then this sweet version is for you!
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Popcorn– 8 cups of plain popped popcorn. (About 1/4 cup of kernels)
- White chocolate– Chips or baking bar.
- Jelly– I use grape, but you can use any flavor you and your kids like.
- Peanut butter– Don’t use the natural kind.
How to Make
To make this, start by dividing the popcorn as evenly as possible into two separate bowls.
Then, melt half of the white chocolate with the peanut butter over medium low heat in a sauce pan on the stove.
Keep stirring until the mixture is melted and smooth.
Pour over 1 bowl of the popcorn and use a rubber spatula to mix it well.
Spread out on a silicone baking mat or parchment paper to let cool.
While the peanut butter popcorn cools, melt the remaining 1/2 cup white chocolate with the grape jelly over medium low heat on the stove top.
Stir the jelly mixture until it’s all melted and smooth.
Then, pour it over the other bowl of popcorn, and stir with rubber spatula to coat well.
Spread the jellied popcorn out on silicone mat or parchment paper to let cool.
Once both batches of popcorn are cooled enough that the coatings are set, mix them both together in a bowl and serve!
Enjoy!

Storing
Store leftovers in an airtight container on the counter.
Tips and Tricks
- Watch the chocolate mixtures very closely and stir constantly. White chocolate burns pretty quickly and will seize up if it burns.
- Feel free to switch out the jelly flavors to suit your preferences.
- Make sure you are using jelly and not preserves. The preserves won’t melt smoothly and then you’ll have weird fruit pieces in your popcorn.
