Strawberry Chocolate Chip Cookies
Strawberry chocolate chip cookies are the best cookies youโve ever had. Light and fluffy and studded with semi sweet milk chocolate chips and swirled with fresh strawberries, they are a must for anyone who loves chocolate covered strawberries!

What better way to celebrate a birthday, Valentine’s Day, or other special occasion than with a sugary sweet?
These strawberry chocolate chip cookies are chewy and moist.
And they are chock full of classic chocolate chip cookie flavor but full of sweet, fresh strawberries for a little taste of summer’s finest berry in each bite.
Pair them with a cold glass of milk for dunkinโ, and youโve got yourself the best dang thing youโll have all year.

They are perfect for strawberry lovers, like my mom, who memorably took me strawberry picking when she was 8 months pregnant with me sister just to sit in the patch and enjoy as many sweet strawberries as I could get her that day.
And really, perfect for anyone who loves the combination of chocolate and strawberries in one sweet bite.
Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:

- Butter– Unsalted butter, softened to room temperature
- Sugar– Brown sugar for chewiness and the molasses background and granulated
- Eggs– Room temperature is best
- Vanilla– The real stuff is best
- Baking soda– For leavening
- Salt– To balance all the flavors
- Flour– All purpose
- Chocolate chips– We use semi sweet but you could use milk, dark, or even white chocolate depending on what you’ve got and what you like.
- Fresh strawberries– Diced
How to Make
Making strawberry chocolate chip cookies is as easy as making any other chocolate chip cookie recipe.

To do it, cream together the butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar in the bowl of a stand mixer that’s fitted with the paddle attachment.

Once the butter and sugar and light and fluffy, beat in the eggs and vanilla just evenly incorporated.

Then whisk together the salt, baking soda, and flour in a separate bowl.

Turn the mixture on to low speed and slowly add the dry ingredients into the bowl of the stand mixture.

Let it mix just until all of the dry ingredients are evenly incorporated.
Then use a spatula to fold in the chocolate chips and the diced strawberries.

Evenly drop roughly tablespoon rounded dough balls out onto a cookie tray lined with parchment paper or a baking mat.

Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 10 minutes, or until the cookies have begun to brown.

Remove the cookies from the oven and let them rest for 5 minutes.
Press 1-2 additional chocolate chips and pieces of strawberry into the top of each cookie.

Transfer the cookies to a wire rack to finish cooling completely before serving.
Serve and enjoy!

Storing
Store these cookies in an airtight container on the counter for up to 4 to 5 days.

Tips and Tricks
- Letting the butter and eggs come to room temperature before you start making the dough will help them come together easier.
- If you forgot to pull out the butter ahead of time, pop it in the microwave and microwave it for 5 seconds. Flip it over and microwave it again for another 5 seconds. Do this 4 times or until the butter is soft but not melted.
- Don’t overmix the cookie dough. Mix it until the dough is just combined for the best cookie texture.

I am a proclaimed cookie monster and I love strawberries. Sadly, they are almost gone in Germany, so make the last ones count! Will pin the recipe. Thanks.
This is one way to make them count. That or over a fresh shortcake with homemade whipped cream.
