Betcha never thought about putting pork chops in the smoker.
Well it makes sense given that smoked pulled pork is such a delicious summer staple.
And smoked pork chops are just as delicious thanks to the deep smoky flavor and tender, juicy meat.
With only 10 minutes of active prep and an hour of hands off cooking time, they’re easy enough anytime you want to change up your basic pork chop routine with a dish that feels a little special.
Serve them with your favorite sides and you’ve got a comforting meal that everyone at the table will be excited about.

Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Pork chops– Boneless pork chops that are about 1/2-3/4″ thick.
- Olive oil– You could use another light oil but olive oil tastes best.
- Seasonings– Garlic powder, onion powder, ground mustard, salt, pepper, and chili powder

How to Make
These smoked pork chops are so easy to make!
Start by preheating your smoker to 225℉.
While the smoker preheats, whisk the seasonings together in a large bowl to evenly combine them.
Set them aside.
Then, pat the pork chops dry using paper towels.
Once you’ve patted the pork chops dry, brush both sides of each chop evenly with olive oil.
Season both sides of each pork chop evenly with the seasoning mixture, pressing it in to the pork as needed to get it to stick.
Transfer the prepared pork chops directly to the rack of the smoker using tongs.
Smoke the pork chops for 1 hour, or until the internal temperature measures 160° in the thickest part of the meat.
Transfer them to a serving platter and tent it with aluminum foil.
Let them rest for 10 minutes.
Serve the pork chops warm with your favorite sides, and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
Reheat the pork chops in a hot oven until warmed through.

Tips and Tricks
- Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
- You can adjust the seasoning to suit your tastes.
