A creamy, dreamy dessert- these Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes are the most delicious way to close out this year’s holiday season. A smooth mixture of rich eggnog, gingersnaps, and velvety vanilla ice cream- it’s a simple treat that’s quick and easy to whip up, but full of flavor.

Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes

I know, I know. You’re probably thinking one of 2 things right now.

A.) It’s the heart of Winter, we’re in way too deep for anything cold or ice cream based to be appropriate or enjoyable. B.) Eggnog season ended with Christmas.

Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes

I’m gonna ask you to go out on a limb with me here, if you fall into either of those two camps, and trust me that both of those are not true.

While it’s true that soon the eggnog will begin disappearing from store shelves, right now it’s still out on display and begging to be added to your shopping cart.

Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes

While you’re wrapped up in a comfy throw, or maybe just an over-sized hoodie, these Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes are a yummy dessert. They’re a beautiful nod to one of the holidays favorite treats- nog.

Sipping on one, or two, is also a delicious way to end this holiday season and get in one last taste of Christmas.

Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes

It’s a rich dessert that begs to be shared, making a great easy treat for after the typical family dinner or even a reason to invite over a few friends.

Depending on the eggnog you buy, it can also be a boozy adult ice cream drink. Grab a great movie, or a few boards games, and settle in for a night of fun with good friends.

Gingerbread Eggnog Milkshakes

Rich velvety eggnog is blended with smooth vanilla ice cream, and just a few gingersnap cookies. Topped with a generous dollop of whiped cream and a sprinkle of gingersnap crumbles- these Gingerbread Eggnog Cookies are a dessert lovers post-holiday dream come true.

They’re the perfect send off, making a yummy goodbye and an ode to the end of another year on the books.

I love eggnog, I love shakes – so why not!?! These sound delish and I don’t even care if it’s cold!

Thanks for sharing this at Fiesta Friday!
