Look there is no shame in my fast food game.

Except for the pain on my wallet after I hit the drive through for a family full of boys. Ouch.

So when possible, I try to make our favorite fast food treats at home.

It saves me a few dollars and when I stumble onto a good copy of a seasonal recipe like these peach milkshakes, it’s winning twice.

When is Chick Fil A’s Peach Milkshake available?

There’s no official word when the chain will release their peach shake this year.

However, in 2021 they hit stores in mid June and were available through summer. In 2019 they hit store in late May with the same availability timeframe.

While they’re probably coming soon, in the next month or so, the official release date will likely depend on the this year’s fresh peach season and when the fruit’s reach peak ripeness and ready for harvest.

Ingredients

To make these you’ll need:

  • Heavy cream– Don’t substitute lower fat dairy here. You want it extra rich and creamy.
  • Peaches– Peeled and sliced peaches. You can use fresh, frozen, or a large drained can.
  • Vanilla ice cream– Use your favorite brand.
  • Garnish– Cherries and whipped cream

Tips and Tricks

  • Using heavy cream is key to the best texture and taste.
  • For a little extra flavor, you can add 1/2 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • I recommend using a good, powerful blender. It will create a better consistency and more evenly blended shake.
