Samoa Cookie Milkshake
A thick and creamy milkshake that tastes exactly like the beloved Girl Scout Cookie. This Samoa Cookie Milkshake is a winning flavor combination.
You have no idea how frustrating it is to use a blender that doesn’t actually blend. Maybe you do, but I pray you do not. It had one job, and it couldn’t even do that.
Trying to blend ice or frozen fruit? The smoking motor and cut off said it wasn’t having any of that. This thing struggled to even blend up soup.
Soup! It’s liquid for goodness’ sake.
That thing had to go and I had no qualms about throwing it in the trash after our tenuous 5 year relationship.
Fortunately, I’ve since been introduced and have entered into a successful long term relationship with a new blender that has a much better work ethic.
The firing and hiring couldn’t have come at a better time either because if you live under a rock or in a hermit cave, or possibly in another country, and weren’t aware– Girl Scout Cookies are here!!
You can keep your Super Bowl, your March Madness… this is my season ya’ll.
I grew up with a powerful love of Thin Mint’s that was nurtured by both my Mom and Grandma.
Then the hubs introduced me to Samoa’s while we were dating. I was sold at first bite and Thin Mints took a back seat to my new favorite.
Now ever year I’m all too happy to see those adorable little uniformed Daisy’s & Brownie’s outside the super market hocking their amazingly addictive boxes of sugared cookies.
I happily hand over the cash for a box or two, or ten and I’m not even going to pretend I actually share them.
I mean I do, once I decide what yummy new treat to turn them into or serve them up with, but I also don’t feel bad about the two boxes I always hide at the bottom of the deep freezer.
They’re perfect for those times when I need a special little pick me up and nobody ever finds them because nobody will dig through the freezer for anything unless forced.
If you too love a good girl scout cookie then brace yourself…
This is a thick and creamy milkshake, whipped together from Samoa cookies themselves, milk and ice cream, with a dash of chocolate and caramel syrups. A quick whirl in the blender and you’ve got an amazing, truly special treat.
Top it with a dollop of whipped cream, some toasted shredded coconut, and a generous drizzle of chocolate and caramel syrup for a great tasting dessert shake that tastes just like the famous cookie.

Yummo Meaghan!!! I want you to ship me one of these bad boys!! Looks so stinking delicious!!
I would if I could love 🙂
This is so right up my ally! I’m pinning this to save for next week on my vacation – to enjoy while the boys are napping of course 🙂
I just made this and it was DELICIOUS! I had to go to a few girl scout cooking selling locations to buy my coveted box of Samoas but its as totally worth it 🙂 Thanks again for sharing this recipe, huge hit!
I’m so glad you liked it, Katie! Everybody here wanted it so unfortunately the kids’ and hubby’s box lasted like two days. My own stash is hidden and I’ll get my sweet tooth in check while they’re in school so I can hide (clean) the evidence!
Ugh! The problem with blender. I got the same problem, too. But gladly, I have changed the blades and worked again. I am having a problem now with the kneading blade of a food processor that cannot stand to knead even for just five minutes. (Sigh!)
This looks absolutely perfect, btw. And I would kill to have a glass of this! 😀
So very decadent. Yum!
It’s so worth every indulgent sip 🙂
This looks so good! And you’re pictures are beautiful.
Thank you so much for the compliment and I can’t wait to hear what you think once you try it 🙂
Whoa this milkshake sounds & looks fantastic!! Thank you for sharing at Fiesta Friday!! 😀
You have no idea how bad I want one of these – two, maybe!! lol!! Happy THrowback Thursday~~
Oh, they’re addictive alright! Lol.
This looks mouthwatering and decadent. Keep staring at the pictures 🙂
Thanks, Zeba! It totally is, too!
