Chick Fil A Chicken Salad (Copycat Recipe)

Chick Fil A was my life force when my kids were little.

The number of times we went so the boys could play in the indoor playground and I could enjoy a minute or two of peace and quiet is countless.

And during their picky eater phases, I could always count on their nuggets and waffle fries.

Now, I love me a good chicken nugget but sometimes, especially in those days, I wanted to feel like a grown up.

So instead of joining them with chicken nuggets (I knew there’d be some leftover anyway!), I’d often order the chicken salad sandwich.

I don’t know if it was just because of the momentary peace and quiet, but that chicken salad sandwich always hit the spot with its tender chicken, crunchy celery bits, sweet relish, and rich hard boiled eggs.

When it was discontinued, my heart broke a little.

But I mended it with this copycat Chick Fil A chicken salad recipe.

Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Chicken– Diced rotisserie chicken. Remove the skin and bones.
  • Celery– Diced, not minced.
  • Relish– Sweet pickle relish
  • Mayonnaise– Real, full fat mayonnaise and not mayonnaise style dressing or Miracle Whip.
  • Hard boiled eggs– Cooled, peeled, and diced.

How to Make

This copycat Chick Fil A chicken salad is so easy!

Just stir all the ingredients together in a large mixing bowl until everything is evenly combined.

Serve on sandwich bread or in wraps.

Storing Leftovers

Store this chicken salad in an airtight container in the fridge for no longer than 4 days after you bought the rotisserie chicken.
