Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Chicken– Canned chunked chicken breast, drained
- Cream cheese– Softened
- Hot sauce– I highly recommend using Frank’s hot sauce for the best flavor.
- Sour cream– Full fat is best
- Ranch dressing– Your favorite brand
- Cheese– Shredded cheddar
How to Make
Buffalo chicken dip is so easy to throw together!
Just add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl and whip it all together using a hand mixer until evenly combined.
Spread the mixture out in an even layer on a lightly greased baking dish.
Top with a small sprinkle of extra shredded cheddar in an even layer.
Bake at 350° for 25 minutes or until bubbling.
Serve warm with your favorite dipping options.

To freeze, spread the mixed dip evenly out in an aluminum tray.
Cover the tray tightly, first with a layer of plastic wrap and then a layer of foil.
This extra layer will help preserve freshness and prevent freezer burn.
Thaw in the refrigerator overnight, uncover, and bake as instructed OR add the still frozen dip to the oven while it preheats and bake for 30 minutes.
How to Make Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip
Mix the dip as instructed above and then spoon the mixed dip into the greased bowl of a slow cooker, and spread out in an even layer.
Cover and cook on LOW for 2 hours or until the dip is hot and bubbly.
Stir before serving.
