I don’t know what it is but homemade dressing just hits harder than bottled.

And this homemade Catalina dressing is one of those.

It comes together in just a few minutes and tastes fresher than anything you’ll find on the grocery store shelf.

But it still has the perfect combination of sweet, tangy, slightly savory flavors  with just enough background of tomato richness.

It’s also incredibly versatile.

It works just as well tossed with a simple green salad as it does in marinades, pasta salads, and more.

To make this you’ll need:

  • Oil– Canola oil. You could use a mild olive oil as well.
  • Vinegar– Red wine vinegar. Don’t substitute.
  • Ketchup– For the tomato background.
  • Honey– For floral sweetness.
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • Soy sauce– You can use lite soy sauce if needed to cut the sodium down.
