Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Ground beef– You can use 80 percent lean or leaner just so it doesn’t cook down too much or get too greasy if your pet’s stomach is sensitive.
- Liver– Beef liver. This is optional. If you use it, give it a rough chop before adding it to the slow cooker.
- Sweet potatoes– Large sweet potatoes, peeled and diced.
- Green beans– Chopped.
- Carrots– Precut matchstick carrots work very well.
- Peas– Frozen.
- Spinach– Chop it. Fresh or frozen work.
- Brown rice– Uncooked.
- Beef broth– You could use beef stock.
- Seasonings– Ground turmeric, black pepper, ground sage, and dried rosemary.
- Olive oil– Optional but recommended.
