Cake batter pie is a no bake recipe loaded with a creamy filling that tastes just like the cake batter you love to lick off the spoon! This cool, creamy dessert is perfect for fans of cake batter and cake batter flavored ice cream!
The best part of baking a birthday cake is definitely eating some of the raw cake batter.
Yes, I know it’s supposed to be not safe to eat what with the raw eggs, but sometimes I like to live dangerously.
But I have found a way to enjoy that delicious cake batter flavor without risking it!

It will be your new favorite dessert if you can’t resist licking the beaters after you make a cake.
And it doesn’t need any baking at all so it’s the perfect dessert to make on the hottest of days.
Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:
- Graham cracker pie crust– A premade one is perfect! We like Pillsbury graham cracker crusts but you can use any kind you’d like.
- Cream cheese– Let it soften to room temperature.
- Sugar– Powdered
- Cake batter flavoring– Amoretti makes our favorite brand, but you can also use McCormick, etc.
- Sprinkles– Confetti sprinkles for the pie itself and any colorful sprinkles you like for garnish
- Pudding mix– Instant white chocolate pudding
- Milk– Make sure it’s cold
- Whipped topping– The kind you find in the freezer section like Cool Whip. Make sure it’s thawed first.
- Food coloring– We used aqua colored gel food coloring but you can sub a different color if you prefer
How to Make
This no bake cake batter pie is so easy to make!
Start by beating together the cream cheese and powdered sugar in a large mixing bowl until it is smooth and creamy.
Then mix in the cake batter flavoring and sprinkles.
Pour the cream cheese base into of the pie crust, smoothing out the mixture with a spatula.
Then whisk the pudding mix and cold milk together in a medium bowl until it is smooth and thick.
Fold in one tablespoon of cake batter flavoring and the whipped topping.
Spread the mixture over the cream cheese layer, smoothing it out with a spatula as needed.
Top the layer with extra Cool Whip and fun colorful sprinkles to decorate the pie.
Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours so it has a chance to set.
Serve and enjoy!
Storing Leftovers
Store leftover pie tightly wrapped in the fridge for up to 5 days.
Tips and Tricks
- Let the cream cheese set out on the counter for about a half an hour prior to whipping it so it reaches the right temperature.
- You can make your own graham cracker crust if you prefer.
- Make sure you are using instant pudding and not the kind you need to cook on the stovetop.

- 8 ounces whipped topping thawed
- Aqua gel food coloring
- Colorful sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
Make The Cream Cheese Base
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy.
- Add the Amoretti cake batter flavoring and sprinkles, mix until well combined.
- Pour the cream cheese mixture into the pie crust and smooth the top with a spatula.
Make The Filling
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the instant white chocolate pudding mix and cold milk until smooth and thickened. Add one TBSP of Amoretti cake batter flavoring.
- Fold in the whipped topping (Cool Whip) until fully combined and fluffy.
- Spread the pudding mixture evenly over the cream cheese layer in the pie crust.
- Garnish the top of the pie with colorful sprinkles and cool whip for a festive finish.
- Refrigerate the pie for at least 2 hours, or until the filling is set and the pie is well chilled.
