What is a Chick Fil A Chicken Mini?
A Chicken Mini is one of Chick Fil A’s breakfast items.
Their signature chicken nuggets are served in a warm fluffy yeast roll that have been brushed with honey butter.
They come 4 to an order.
Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:
- Chicken nuggets– While technically you could use any nuggets you have, for the best results I highly recommend using homemade Chick Fil A Chicken Nuggets
- Frozen yeast rolls– While again you could use any, I recommend Sister Schubert’s.
- Butter– Salted butter melted
- Honey
How to Make
These homemade chicken minis are so easy to make!
To do it, just bake the rolls according to the directions on the package.
When the rolls are done, whisk the melted butter and honey together in a small bowl.
Then brush the honey butter over the warm rolls.
Then pull the rolls apart and cut them open lengthwise, but make sure you leave one end still attached.
Put a nugget inside each roll.
Serve and enjoy!
Topping Ideas
Chick Fil A serves them as is but does offer a choice of sauces and other spreads on the side.
Some of our favorite options include:
- Strawberry or grape jelly
- Honey
- Chick Fil A sauce
- Buffalo sauce
- Honey mustard
Storing Leftovers
Store completely cooled assembled chicken minis in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 5 days.
You could also freeze them for up to three months and thaw them in the fridge overnight before heating and serving.

Awesome recipe
Where do you buy the rolls at???
Sister Schubert’s frozen rolls are the only one’s I’ve found that taste the same. Pretty much any grocery store should have them in the frozen bread section.
