Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

  • Pasta– I highly recommend rotini since this noodle type holds the sauce the best but you could substitute another type of similar length pasta.
  • Ranch dressing– Creamy ranch.
  • Mayonnaise– Real full fat mayo and not mayonnaise style dressing.
  • Diced Ham– Any liquids from the package drained away
  • Peas– Frozen peas, thawed.
  • Salt and pepper– To taste

How to Make

Copycat Ruby Tuesday’s pasta salad is super easy to make!

Jus cook the pasta according to the package directions until al dente.

Once the pasta is al dente, strain it and immediately run it under cold water, stirring as needed, until it’s cooled.

Set the cooled pasta aside.

Whisk the ranch dressing and mayonnaise together in a large mixing bowl until evenly combined.

Stir the ham and thawed peas into the dressing mixture.

Finally, toss the pasta with the dressing, ham and pea mixture until everything’s evenly combined and coated with dressing.

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and chill it in the fridge for 1 hour to let the flavors come together.

Give everything a good stir, then serve, and enjoy!

Storing

Store this in an airtight container or tightly covered bowl in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Can I use canned peas instead?

Yes, you can use drained canned peas but I still recommend using frozen if possible.

Canned peas are more tender and will break up and turn to mush when you stir them.

Thawed frozen peas have a better color and are less fragile so they will stay whole while stirring repeatedly.

Tips and Tricks

  • No rotini? Use penne or even elbow macaroni or farfalle instead.
  • Give the pasta salad a taste before you season it.
