It’s easy, saves you in a pinch, and -dare I say- may be more delicious than Lawry’s.

What is seasoned salt made of?

Seasoned salt is a zesty blend of salt, sugar, and an assortment of dried spices like paprika, turmeric, and cayenne.

To make this you’ll need:

  • Salt– Table salt. Nothing fancy.
  • Ground spices– Celery salt, paprika, onion powder, garlic powder, tumeric, and cayenne
  • Sugar– Superfine sugar. Superfine sugar is a finely ground version of granulated sugar. Do not use powdered sugar. It won’t work!
  • Cornstarch– To act as a thickening agent
