Ingredients

To make this you’ll need:

How to Make

To make this easy copycat Rice A Roni, just whisk together the cream of chicken soup and chicken broth in a medium sized pot.

Then, stir in the rice.

Let the mixture come to a boil, and then reduce the heat so it just simmers.

Simmer the mixture for 10 to 12 minutes.

After 10 to 12 minutes, remove the pot from the heat and stir the rice.

Let the rice sit for another 5 minutes.

Does Rice A Roni use long grain rice?

Yes. They use long grain white rice.

Some varieties may mix in white pastas as well.

What About The Vermicelli?

If you want the pasta included with your rice a roni- break roughly 2 ounces (about 1/2 cup) of vermicelli or spaghetti noodles into 1/2 inch pieces.

Add them with the rice, and follow the same cooking instructions.

This looks very good, but with no pasta, seasonings, & made with canned soup, it should not be called a copycat rice a roni.
