Chicken pillows are so, so easy to make!
To do it, mash together the chicken, softened cream cheese, and spices in a medium bowl.
Set the chicken mixture aside and open the tube of crescent rolls, separating them into 8 triangles.
Then divide the chicken mixture int 8 equal portions, putting it on the wide part of each roll. Preheat the oven to 375 F. Line a baking sheet with parchment and set aside.
Roll the crescent rolls, tucking the sides in and pinch the seam.
Dip each chicken pillow into the melted butter, then roll in panko to coat.

Storing Leftovers
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 4 days.
Reheat them in the oven until warmed through.

Make these chicken pillows your own by changing up the seasonings or adding a couple extra ingredients.
Ideas include:
- forgoing the garlic powder and parsley in favor of a few teaspoons of dried ranch mix
- tossing the chicken with wing sauce for a buffalo chicken version
- mixing in cheddar cheese and taco seasoning for a Southwest version

- Leave the cream cheese out on your counter to soften for about half an hour prior to making it.
- While you can use store brand crescent rolls, I recommend Pillsbury for best flavor and results.
