Paninis are basically the grown-up version of grilled cheese.

Sandwiched between slices of golden, grilled sourdough bread this chipotle chicken bacon ranch is a flavor and texture combination you need on your life and on your table.

Plus, these paninis come together quickly, making them ideal for lunch or busy nights.
It keeps you outta the kitchen and keeps the rest of them happy and well fed!
Ingredients
To make these you’ll need:

- Bread– Crusty sliced sourdough bread
- Butter
- Chicken– Strips of grilled chicken breast. You could also substitute chicken fingers or even rotisserie chicken.
- Tomatoes– Thinly sliced
- Bacon– Cooked crisp and patted dry of grease
- Chipotle seasoned cheddar cheese– If you can’t find this, use plain cheddar and stir some chipotle sauce intor your ranch.
- Ranch dressing– Your favorite kind or even leftover homemade ranch.
How to Make
Chipotle chicken bacon ranch paninis are easy- especially if you have prepared all the ingredients ahead of time or are using leftovers.

To make them, heat up the panini press or a grill pan while you make your sandwich.

Butter one side of each slice of sourdough.
Lay one of the buttered sides of bread down flat onto the panini press.

Quickly layer the ingredients in this order: one slice of cheddar, chicken strips, tomato slices, bacon, ranch dressing, and finally the last piece of cheese.

Close the sandwich with the second slice of bread with the buttered side facing up and close the Panini press.

Cook the sandwich for 3-5 minutes, or until the outside is golden brown with grill marks and the cheese is melted nicely inside.
Serve and enjoy!

Storing Leftovers
This isn’t a dish you will likely have leftovers of and it is definitely best the day you make it.
If you have extra ingredients store them separately in the fridge in airtight containers.

Tips and Tricks
- These sandwiches are perfect if you plan to have chicken and bacon earlier in the week so your ingredients are premade and ready. I also love using the pregrilled chicken strips you can find in the grocery store to save time if I’m not planning on chicken that week.
- To make it on the stove, cook the first side for 3 minutes and put a pan weight or a panini press on top of the sandwich. If you don’t have that, you can set a clean cast iron pan on top of the sandwich. Flip after 3 minutes and cook for 3 more minutes, pressing with a pan weight, press, or cast iron pan.
- If you can’t find chipotle cheddar, you can make or buy premade chipotle ranch which would give you the same blend of flavors. To make chipotle ranch, just stir your desired amount of chipotle sauce together with the ranch dressing.
