There are a few restaurants where arguably the bread is the best part of the meal.

Olive Garden’s breadsticks.

Carrabba’s bread.

And of course Red Lobster’s Cheddar Bay biscuits.

Who even needs to order a full dinner when you can fill up on endless baskets of warm, cheesy biscuits?

Of course, it’s generally frowned upon to sit there and order only the biscuits and maybe a soda, but their food is expensive.

So rather than take us all out to a pricy dinner just to devour the bread, we make them right at home.

And the result is a Red Lobster dupe we love!

    1. While I can see why you’d think that- the company itself doesn’t use Old Bay seasoning in their recipe. They were originally introduced as ‘hot, cheesy garlic bread’, and Red Lobster later changed the name to ‘Cheddar Bay’ to better represent the seafood and seaside vibe of the franchise.

I agree with Meaghan, I wouldn’t change it at all!! Plus I don’t like old bay seasoning! And I can’t eat any kind of sea food!! Don’t like it! Leave them as they are, that’s why they are so so good and I love her recipe!! Thank you for sharing!!
