Ingredients
To make this you’ll need:

- Cereal– Both Cinnamon Chex and Honey Nut Cheerios. You can really substitute most varieties of Chex if you’d like. Chocolate Chex and Honey Nut Chex would both be yummy.
- Peanuts– Salted cocktail peanuts
- Pretzels– Mini pretzel twists or just mini pretzels will work fine. You want classic salted pretzels. Avoid pretzels like Dot’s that have different flavor coatings.
- Butter– Melted
- Sugar– Brown
- Syrup– Maple syrup
- Vanilla Extract– Real vanilla
- Cinnamon
- Red and Green M&M’s– Technically you can use regular ones but the holiday variety really add to the festive vibe.
- Chocolate Chips– White chocolate but you can use milk or dark chocolate if that’s what you prefer.
How to Make
This Christmas Chex Mix is super easy to make.

To do it, spray the bowl of your slow cooker with nonstick spray.
Add the cereals, peanuts, and pretzels to the prepared slow cooker bowl.

In a separate small bowl, stir together the melted butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon together.
Pour the mixture over the cereal mixture in the slow cooker and gently toss it to combine.

Put the lid on the slow cooker, leaving the lid vented open.
Cook the mix on low for 2 to 3 hours, stirring every 30 minutes to make sure it doesn’t stick to the sides of the slow cooker.

Then pour the Chex Mix out onto a parchment lined tray, spreading it out so it can cool.
Sprinkle on the candy and the chocolate chips.
Serve and enjoy!
