Cookie Monster Ice Cream
This fun Cookie Monster inspired ice cream is perfect for cookie fans young and old. Creamy, no churn homemade ice cream is studded with two different kinds of cookies for the ultimate indulgent dessert. And of course we dyed it blue because how else would our homage to the beloved Sesame Street character be complete?
Hey ya’ll– sorry I’ve been MIA recently without much interaction or yummy new ideas to share.
I’ve been pretty under the weather, including a brief stay in the hospital, but I’m finally feeling a bit better.
I’m not back to myself, but I don’t feel like I’m struggling for each breath, and I have the energy to get out of bed.
That of course mean I have the energy for brief (very brief at this point folks) stints in the kitchen.
That’s the beautiful thing about whipping up your own batch of creamy no-churn ice cream– it’s so quick. And it’s an edible blank canvas to do with pretty much whatever you will.
By itself it’s a bowlful of comfort but when you make it your own by adding your favorite custom mix-ins? It’s perfect.
A true ode to the loveable blue monster from Sesame Street with a very acute sweet tooth– this Cookie Monster Ice Cream is perfect.
The perfect hue of blue just like Cookie Monster himself, and chock full of two classic snack cookies– oreo & chocolate chip– each scoop is creamy and dreamy.
Cookie lover, ice cream afficianado, potato potahto– it’s all good here. Share a bowl with your favorite cookie monster and share a sweet sweet smile with every bite.

Cookie Monster Ice Cream
Ingredients
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 1 10 oz can sweetened condensed milk
- 10-12 Mini Oreos
- 10-12 Mini Chips Ahoy
- blue food coloring
- 1-2 tsp vanilla extract optiona
Instructions
- Add the cream to the bowl of your stand mixer and use the whisk attachment to whisk it on medium-low speed for up to 10 minutes, or until you have slightly firm frothy peaks forming. Do not over whip or it will separate and you'll be left with yummy, but not useable butter.
- Transfer the condensed milk to a small mixing bowl. Add in the blue food coloring and stir until evenly incorporated. Continue adding food coloring ass needed until the desired blue hue is reached.
- Add the colored milk into the whipped cream, stirring the mixture just until evenly incorporated and a uniform color-- Do not over mix.
- Scoop the ice cream mixture into a regular sized metal loaf pan. Add in the cookies so they're evenly spaced out and use a knife or a spoon to gently press them down into the ice cream mixture. Use the back of said spoon, the knife, or even a spatula to spread the ice cream evenly out over top.
- Cover the loaf pan tightly with plastic wrap or even a dish towel and place it in the freezer until the ice cream's frozen solid-- about 6 hours or up to overnight.
- Scoop, serve and enjoy!

What’s age matter really when Cookie Monster’s involved, or cookies themselves for that matter?
I love this! Thanks for sharing 🙂
I’m so glad Sarah, thank you.
What a cite idea and perfect for summer.
I totally agree, Quinn!
This is very nice… when I was a kid in Italy we used to have the same ice cream flavour call “smurf”, of course the name was taken by the cartoon ” The Surfs”. It was one of my favourite! Thanks a lot for sharing this with us at FF…. It’s like to dive into the past!
Oh, that’s lovely! I like the idea and am glad you were able to recall such happy childhood memories.
So cute!!! I love these :).
Thanks, April!
Hello,
Sorry I am unsure about the amount of condensed milk I should use (metric system). Do you mean 1 can that contains 10oz? And is it American of Uk oz?
Thanks!
Sorry about the confusion! It is one can that contains 10 oz. If you can’t find it in that size, you could always buy multiple smaller cans, or a larger, and measure out 10 oz worth on a kitchen scale.
