Hawaiian Pizza Sliders

Hawaiian pizza sliders turn the flavors from pineapple pizza into an easy, delicious appetizer or lunch that can feed a crowd. These spicy sweet sliders combine spicy peppers and mozzarella with sweet pineapple chunks and melty mozzarella cheese for the perfect combination.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped ham
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks drained
  • 12 Hawaiian Sweet Rolls sliced in half
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 jalapeno diced seeds removed
  • 2 Tbsp butter melted
  • 1 tbsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tbsp garlic salt

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375F.
  • Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper. Set aside.
  • Using a large serrated knife, slice the rolls in half so you have a ‘slab’ of tops and a ‘slab’ of bottoms, but keeping them linked together.
  • Place the bottom ‘slab’ of rolls on the baking pan then Spread the marinara sauce evenly out over the bottom part of the rolls.
  • Sprinkle half the mozzarella cheese evenly out overtop of the sauce.
  • Spread your chopped ham, pineapple chunks, and jalapeños evenly over the cheese then top with the remaining cheese. Add the top 'slab' to close the sandwiches.
  • Add the butter, oregano, and garlic to a small bowl. Whisk together until evenly combined, then brush the mixture evenly out overtop of the rolls.
  • Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes, just until golden brown on top and the cheese has melted.
  • Pull apart, serve warm, and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you’d rather make a Hawaiian pizza instead of sliders, just follow my easy homemade pizza dough recipe and top the dough with all the toppings in the recipe below.
  • Don't have leftover ham? You can also use sliced deli ham.
  • If you don't want the spiciness, skip the jalapenos.
