Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup white granulated sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • pinch table salt

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small bowl.
2/3 cup white granulated sugar, 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, pinch table salt
  • Whisk them together until evenly combined.
  • You can store, or use, the mix at this point.
  • To use it add 2 tablespoons of the quik mix to 1 cup (8 ounces) of milk.
  • Stir together well, until evenly incorporated.
  • Serve and enjoy!

Notes

  • For the best results, blend the mixture together in a food processor fitted with the blade attachment or in a high powered blender until it's evenly combined. This helps the mix to dissolve into the milk better.
  • This cocoa mix will blend best into milk that's NOT ice cold. If you are using cold milk then I recommend mixing it with a milk frother for the smoothest results.
  • This mix makes an excellent hot chocolate base. Follow the same 2 tablespoon to 1 cup of milk ratio and whisk the milk and homemade Nesquik together in a saucepan over medium low heat until the milk is warm. Top it with marshmallows or whipped cream.
