Crab Rangoon Pizza

Crab rangoon pizza is a delicious way to turn the classic takeout appetizer into a dinner everyone will love. A delicious creamy seafood spread sits on a pizza crust and gets topped with cheese before being baked to bubbly perfection and garnished with chili sauce and wonton strips. The perfect update to pizza night!

Ingredients

  • 1 large store bought pizza crust
  • 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 4-5 oz flake style imitation crab
  • 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 1/4 tsp lemon juice
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 green onions thinly sliced & divided
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste (optional)
  • 1/4 cup crispy wonton strips for garnish
  • 3 tbsp sweet chili sauce for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of the shredded mozzarella, mayonnaise, sour cream, crab, Parmesan, lemon juice, garlic, onions, worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper to a mixing bowl. Using a hand mixer, whip them together until the mixture's smooth & creamy.
    1 8 oz pkg cream cheese, 1/3 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, 4-5 oz flake style imitation crab, 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, 1 1/4 tsp lemon juice, 2 cloves garlic, 3 green onions, 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper, 1 1/4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Transfer the crust to a pizza pan then spread the cream cheese mixture evenly out overtop of it. Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese evenly out overtop.

  • Bake at 450° for 14-16 minutes, until the cheese is hot and bubbly and slightly golden brown in spots.
  • Carefully remove the hot pizza from the oven and let rest for 5 minutes while the cheese sets up.
  • Top with wonton strips and a drizzle of sweet chili sauce, if desired, then slice and serve!

Notes

  • Let the cream cheese soften to room temperature on the counter prior to making this.
  • You can substitute drained canned crab meat for the imitation crab if desired.
  • Top with extra sliced green onions if desired.
