Caramel Apple Pie Milkshake

This homemade apple pie milkshake is an ice cream shop style treat that brings a taste of fall to a frozen drink. With only 3 ingredients, you get a sippable version of apple pie a la mode in a snap!

Ingredients

For The Milkshakes

  • 2 cups vanilla ice cream
  • 1/2 cup whole milk
  • 1/2 cup apple pie filling

For Garnish

  • caramel sauce
  • graham crackers crumbs
  • whipped cream
  • ground cinnamon

Instructions

  • Add all of the milkshake ingredients to a blender, and blend until smooth & creamy.
    2 cups vanilla ice cream, 1/2 cup whole milk, 1/2 cup apple pie filling
  • Pour the mixture evenly into two glasses.
  • Top each with whipped cream, a drizzle of caramel syrup, a sprinkle of graham crackers crumbs, and a pinch of ground cinnamon.

  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

  • With a lot of milkshakes, you can experiment with their ice cream flavors. Stick to vanilla on this one as it goes the best with the apple pie filling.
  • Because the ice cream is so important, you want to use your favorite brand and variety of vanilla.
  • Don't substitute lower fat milk. The whole milk is so important for the ultra creaminess.
  • For a thicker milkshake, use less milk. For a thinner milkshake, use more.
