Heat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
Prepare the blue cheese sauce, combine the blue cheese, buttermilk, sour cream, garlic, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, black pepper, mustard powder, and salt in a medium bowl until combined
Refrigerate the sauce for about 30 minutes to allow the flavors to marinate together
In the meantime, combine the ground chicken, egg, flour, 1/3 cup of the hot sauce, green onion, and garlic powder in a large mixing bowl
Roll the mixture into 1 ½ -inch balls and place on a baking sheet
Bake the meatballs for 15-18 minutes, remove from the oven and allow to rest for about 10 minutes
Toss the meatballs in the remaining hot sauce
Drizzle the blue cheese sauce over the chicken meatballs or serve in small side dishes to dip in
