Big Mac Smash Tacos (Viral TikTok Recipe)

Big Mac smash tacos are the latest TikTok trend to take the internet by storm! Also called Smash Burger tacos, this mash up of Big Mac flavors is served taco style but with all your favorite McDonalds flavors like special sauce, classic burger toppings, and  American cheese.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 90/10 ground beef
  • 8 soft taco size flour tortillas
  • 8 slices American cheese
  • 2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce
  • 1/2 cup diced onion
  • ½ cup thousand island dressing
  • Pickle slices
  • Salt and pepper

Instructions

  • Divide the meat into 8 equal portions.
    1 pound 90/10 ground beef
  • Spread each portion of meat on a tortilla into a thin layer.
    8 soft taco size flour tortillas
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper.

  • Heat a medium skillet over medium heat.
  • Place on of the tortillas beef side down in the pan.
  • Cook for 2-3 minutes until the beef is cooked through and browned.
  • Flip the tortilla over and let cook 30 seconds on that side.
  • Remove from the pan and place a slice of cheese on the beef.
    8 slices American cheese
  • Repeat with the other tortillas.
  • Top each taco with pickle, lettuce, onion and drizzle with the dressing.
    2 cup shredded iceberg lettuce, 1/2 cup diced onion, ½ cup thousand island dressing, Pickle slices
  • Fold like tacos and serve!

Notes

  • You don't have to just season the meat with salt and pepper. A sprinkle of burger seasoning, dry barbecue rub, garlic powder, or whatever other seasoning you like would be good!
  • Don't limit yourself to the suggested toppings. Use your favorite toppings!
  • These are fantastic with low carb tortillas if you are watching carbs.
