Ingredients

  • 32 oz frozen meatballs
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 20 oz sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 4 cup beef broth
  • pinch seasoned salt
  • 1/4 tsp thyme leaves
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp gravy master

Instructions

  • Bake the meatballs according to the package directions.
    32 oz frozen meatballs
  • While the meatballs are cooking, start the gravy by adding the butter to a large skillet set over medium heat. When it's melted, stir in the mushrooms and cook until they've softened and excess liquid has evaporated.
1/4 cup butter, 20 oz sliced baby bella mushrooms
  • Add the flour to the skillet, and stir to combine. Cook for 60 seconds to cook off the 'floury' taste.
    1/4 cup flour
  • Add the broth to the skillet, one cup at a time, whisking until completely combined.
    4 cup beef broth
  • Add the seasonings, stir to combine, and let the gravy simmer for 10 minutes to thicken.
pinch seasoned salt, 1/4 tsp thyme leaves, 1/4 tsp garlic powder, 1 tsp gravy master
  • Add the cooked meatballs to the skillet and stir to combine with gravy.
  • Serve warm over mashed potatoes and enjoy!

  • For an extra bit of garlic flavor, add some pressed or minced fresh garlic.
  • These are delicious over mashed potatoes or thick slices of Texas toast or garlic bread.
