Big Mac Sauce Recipe (McDonald's Copycat)
This homemade big mac sauce recipe is a spot on copycat of the classic McDonald's condiment. An easy, 5 minute recipe, this sauce makes a perfect addition to burgers, fries, and even salads!

- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish
- 2 tbsp yellow mustard can sub Dijon
- 1 tsp white vinegar
- 1 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/8 tsp white pepper
Add all of the ingredients to a small mixing bowl.
1 cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sweet pickle relish, 2 tbsp yellow mustard, 1 tsp white vinegar, 1 1/4 tsp paprika, 1 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1/8 tsp white pepper
Whisk them together until evenly incorporated and the mixture's smooth.

- Contrary to popular belief, big mac sauce does not include ketchup. It's reddish/pink hue actually comes from paprika. Just a fun fact!
- You need to use a quality mayo for this recipe. I recommend using Hellman's original, and Blue Plate as an alternate.
- Like so many recipes, the flavors in this sauce develop and deepen the longer it sits. If serving warm, I recommend letting it rest for 30 minutes first for best results. It's not 100% necessary, but totally worth it.
- Don't like any chunks in your dipping sauces? Use an immersion blender to puree the sauce before using.
