Watermelon Slushie

Refreshing, healthy dessert options are a must have during warmer weather. All the better if they're simple to whip up. This 4 ingredient watermelon slushie recipe comes together quickly in a blender, and can be made as is for the whole family to enjoy- or infused with alcohol for a simple adult cocktail.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups frozen watermelon cubes
  • 2 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2-1 cup water
  • 1 tbsp sugar optional

Instructions

  • Cube watermelon and freeze on a metal cookie sheet. Remove the frozen cubes from the cookie sheet and put them into a ziploc-ing freezer bag to store in the freezer.
  • Remove 4 cups of watermelon cubes and place in a blender. Add in the lime juice, 1/2 cup water, and sugar, if using. Blend until desired consistency. Add more water if needed.
  • Pour into two glasses and, if you’re feelin’ fancy, garnish each glass with a slice of lime!
