Start by mixing your flour, cinnamon, ginger, salt and baking soda in a mixing bowl.
In a separate mixing bowl cream together your butter, sugar, and eggs.
Slowly add your flour mixture to the cream mixture, while mixing.
Mix until well blended.
Fill your greased bread pan with batter.
Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes on bottom rack.
Move to top rack and bake at 225 for 20 more minutes or until baked through.
Let cool.
Mix together you powdered sugar, half and half, and vanilla in a large mixing bowl until smooth.
Glaze your loaf of bread and slice.
