- 3 large Egg Whites
- 1/4 tsp Cream of Tarter
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 cup Corn Syrup
- 1/2 cup Water
Start by adding your egg whites, vanilla, and cream of tartar to a stand mixer.
3 large Egg Whites, 1/2 tsp Vanilla extract, 1/4 tsp Cream of Tarter
Mix on high until stiff peaks form.
In a sauce pan add your sugar, corn syrup, and water. Bring to a rolling boil.
1 cup Sugar, 1 cup Corn Syrup, 1/2 cup Water
Turn your stand mixer on high and slowly add your sugar mixer. Pouring down the side of the bowl.
Mix on high until it becomes stiff and shiny! This is how you know it’s finished.
Store in a mason jar and enjoy. You will never buy store-bought again.
- Be careful handling the sugar mixture so you don't burn yourself.
- Pouring the sugar mixture down the sides of the mixing bowl helps make sure none of the egg mixture gets stuck on the sides.
