8 Ounces Honey, 1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar, 1/2 tbsp Crushed Red Pepper
Slowly heat, without stirring, until little bubbles start popping up on the edges of the honey and the honey has thinned.
Remove from the stove and you can either use it immediately, or if you would like it to thicken up a bit, place it in a mason jar, cover it, and let it rest for about an hour. Enjoy!
- Do not freeze this.
- Add more or less red pepper to suit your heat preferences.
- For a smoother experience, some people will strain the red pepper flakes out by pouring the hot honey through a fine mesh sieve right when it comes off the stove.
- The honey will be pretty thin while it is warm but will thicken as it cools.
