- 2 lbs lean ground pork
- 1 tsp fennel seeds crushed
- 1 tsp ground sage
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp ground pepper
Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Mix everything together until evenly combined- I recommend using clean hands for easiest mixing and best results.
2 lbs lean ground pork, 1 tsp fennel seeds, 1 tsp ground sage, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1 tsp dried Italian seasoning, 1 tsp garlic powder, 2 tsp salt, 1 tsp ground pepper
Shape the mixture into 10-12 even-ish patties, transfer them to a wax paper lined plate, then cover and chill in the refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.
Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat. Fry the patties, in batches so you don't overcrowd the pan, for 2-3 minutes- per side.
Transfer the cooked patties to a waiting paper towel lined plate to drain off any excess grease. Repeat until all the patties have been cooked.
Serve warm and enjoy!
- Fry the patties, in batches so you don't overcrowd the pan.
- If you use full fat pork, the seasoning ratios stay the same.
- You can adjust the seasonings to suit your taste.
