Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp Flavored or Plain Yogurt
  • 2 tbsp Cornstarch
  • 1 tbsp White Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Egg Whites
  • 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 215 degrees fahrenheit.
  • Line a 9x13 baking sheet with tin foil and then place a sheet of parchment paper over the top of the foil.
  • Place the yogurt, cornstarch, and sugar in a small mixing bowl, and mix until fully combined.
2 tbsp Flavored or Plain Yogurt, 2 tbsp Cornstarch, 1 tbsp White Granulated Sugar
  • Add the egg whites and cream of tartar to a separate medium mixing bowl. Using the hand mixer, beat the egg mixture until it holds shape. Nice and thick.
2 Egg Whites, 1/4 tsp Cream of Tartar
  • Gently, very gently, add the yogurt mixture to the egg whites and lightly fold the ingredients together using a rubber spatula. Remain very gentle so the mixture holds its texture.
  • Using a spoon or frosting bag, make small dollops of the yogurt mixture on the prepared sheet. You don’t have to leave a ton of space between each dot. Just a little bit is perfect.
  • Bake for 30-40 minutes or until lightly golden brown on the bottom.
  • Remove and let chill on the pan for 15 minutes.
  • Eat right away or store in a sealed baggie or airtight container in the pantry. Enjoy!

Notes

  • You can useany flavor of yogurt you like. I've done this with both strawberry yogurt and plain yogurt.
  • To make sure this works well, you may want to remove any large pieces of fruit of from flavored yogurt.
  • You can use any size icing tip up to size 10 to make the dollops. The mixture doesn't hold its shape well so even a small tip will work.
  • I recommend using a piping bag instead of a spoon to distribute the mixture. It's much easier.
  • When you fill the piping bag, hold up the tip a little bit to make sure the mixture doesn't drip out.
  • If you are making these for a child under 1, do not use any yogurt with honey.
