Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup chili sauce such as Heinz
  • 1/4 cup ketchup good quality
  • 1/2 tbsp worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 tsp horseradish more or less, to taste
  • 2 1/4 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • pinch garlic salt

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a small blender, and whip together until smooth. If you'd prefer, you can add them to a small mixing bowl and whisk together by hand.
  • Chill the mixture, covered, in the refrigerator.
  • Once chilled, serve it arranged with chilled, steamed shrimp for the best presentation.

Notes

  • Use a blender for fast, easy whipping.
  • Don’t store used sauce that’s touched food, it can grow bacteria once it has come in contact with shrimp or other foods.
  • Serve with your favorite dippable foods like fries, tots, chicken nuggets, or fried fish.
  • Use steamed shrimp for a cocktail ring. It looks the best compared to other cooking methods.
