1 5 oz can tuna (packed in water), 1 large egg, 1 tablespoon olive oil
Add the flour to the processor, and pulse until a sticky mixture is formed.
1 cup whole wheat flour
Drop the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet, then use a fork to flatten slightly
Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes
Allow to cool completely before serving to cats. Store in the fridge for up to 5 days.
- Keep the treats small so your cats will eat them.
- If you've never given your cat homemade treats before, introduce them slowly. In other words, don't feed your cat more than one or two the first day you make them.
- Check with your veterinarian before making these and feeding them to your cat. Your vet can advise you on any specialty needs your cat might have.
- Don't season these. Cats don't need seasonings like salt and pepper to enjoy these.
- Finally, you can substitute canned salmon in place of the tuna if preferred.
