Ingredients

  • bananas
  • lemon juice
  • water
  • cinnamon
  • kosher salt

Instructions

  • Slice bananas thinly (1/8″), and then brush with the lemon juice mixed with just a little water. Sprinkle with cinnamon and kosher salt.
  • Bake at 250 degrees for about 90 minutes, then turn the slices, and continuing to bake another 30 minutes.
  • Let cool (the longer they cool the crispier they become) before eating.

Notes

  • The bananas will crisp up as they cool after you bake them.
  • The exact amounts of water and lemon juice will depend on how many bananas you are using. If you are using more than 3 or 4, you may need to use an extra teaspoon or so of lemon juice and more water.
  • Don't worry if the lemon juice and water aren't exact!
  • You can adjust the seasoning to your liking and even skip the cinnamon if that's not your thing.
  • These are delicious on their own, as a yogurt topping, or even mixed into trail mix.
