Crunchwrap Supreme (Taco Bell Copycat)

This Crunchwrap Supreme is a spot on Taco Bell copycat recipe of the fan favorite. Seasoned ground beef gets layered with queso, tostadas, cheese, and toppings and tucked into a lightly fried tortilla. Guaranteed to satisfy your fast food cravings!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 4 large tortillas
  • 1/2 cup queso
  • 4 tostadas
  • 2 cups shredded tex mex cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup chopped tomato
  • 4 mini flour tortillas

Instructions

  • In a large pan over medium heat, brown the ground beef, drain and stir in the chili powder, cumin, oregano, and salt and cook an additional 1-2 minutes

  • Divide the mixture between 4 large tortillas then divide the queso on top of each pile of beef

  • Top each with a tostada, followed by 1/2 cup shredded cheese

  • Add the lettuce and tomato to each tortilla, then place a mini tortilla on top of each
    1 cup shredded lettuce, 1/2 cup chopped tomato, 4 mini flour tortillas
  • Fold the edges of each tortilla up and around the mini tortilla, then in a lightly grease skillet cook with the folded side down for 2-3 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on both sides
  • Serve with salsa and sour cream if desired

Notes

  • Don't skip draining the beef! Otherwise the Crunchwraps will be a bit of a greasy mess.
  • Omit any toppings you don't like.
  • Adjust the seasoning to suit your tastes.
