Chicken Minis Recipe (Chick Fil A Copy Cat)

This homemade chicken minis recipe is a spot on Chick Fil A copy cat of their classic mini sandwiches. These easy to make bite sized sandwiches feature chicken nuggets nestled between warm, honey buttered rolls. It's the perfect way to satisfy your fast food cravings at home!

  • Bake the rolls according to the package instructions.
    1-2 pkg Sister Schubert's frozen yeast rolls
  • Add both the melted butter and honey to a small bowl, then whisk until evenly combined. Brush the mixture evenly out overtop of the still warm rolls.
    1/4 cup salted butter, 1 1/2 tbsp honey
  • When the rolls are still warm, but safe enough to handle, separate them and cut them open lengthwise- but DO NOT cut all the way through.
  • Tuck a nugget into each roll.
    1 batch homemade chick fil a chicken nuggets
  • Serve warm & enjoy!

Notes

  • While you could use any chicken nugget or yeast roll you like my recommendations are for what will give you the results that taste most like Chick Fil A.
  • You can serve them room temperature but warm is best!
  • This is an easy recipe to double or even triple to serve a crowd!
