- 12-14 cups chopped pears
- 1 1/2 - 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon optional
- 1/3-1/2 cup sugar optional
Add all of the chopped fruit to the bowl of your Instant Pot.
Pour the water over the fruit, and (if using) sprinkle the cinnamon & sugar evenly out over top.
Add the lid, closing it, and turning the vent valve to the sealed position.
Pressure cook on HIGH for 5 minutes, then carefully open the vent valve to perform a quick release. Be careful to avoid the HOT steam.
Once all the pressure's been released, carefully open the lid, and let the steam clear.
Using an immersion blender, blend the pear sauce until the smoothness has reached your desired consistency.
Serve warm, or refrigerate and serve cold.
