Apple Butter Baked Beans

Apple butter baked beans give the classic barbecue side dish a seasonal update. This recipe is perfect for tailgating, game day and fall potlucks!

Ingredients

  • 1 53 oz can pork & beans
  • 1/4 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp yellow mustard
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup apple butter
  • 4 slices bacon cooked crisp & crumbled

Instructions

  • Add all of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl. Stir them together until everything's evenly combined.
  • Spray a 9x13" casserole dish with non stick cooking spray. Pour the mixture into the prepared dish. Spread it out evenly.
  • Bake the beans at 400° for 1 hour.
  • Remove the beans from the oven, and let them rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
