Crockpot Steak Teriyaki

Crockpot steak teriyaki is a delicious easy recipe that requires only a few minutes of prep time. This quick dinner recipe features tender beef and sweet pineapples in a thick teriyaki glaze over a bed of white rice. Make this instead of ordering takeout.

Ingredients

  • 3 lbs stew beef
  • 1 bottle teriyaki sauce
  • 1 20 oz can pineapple tidbits drained
  • 1 1/2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup water
  • steamed white rice for serving

Instructions

  • Add the beef to the bowl of your slow cooker. Season with salt & pepper.
  • Add the pineapple & water chestnuts to the crock pot. Pour the teriyaki sauce evenly out over top. Stir gently to combine all of the ingredients.
  • Cook on low for 4-5 hours.
  • Turn the crockpot on high.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cornstarch and water to form a slurry. Pour the slurry into the pot, stirring to incorporate.
  • Allow the mixture to cook another 5-10 minutes, until the sauce has thickened.
  • Ladle the cooked steak teriyaki over warm bowls of steamed white rice to serve.
  • Top with thinly sliced green onions and sesame seeds, if desired.
