Crockpot Asian Meatballs

Crockpot Asian meatballs are a flavorful, easy way to dress up a bag of frozen meatballs. This yummy recipe has almost no prep time, making it perfect for days when you are short on time.

Ingredients

  • 2 28 oz bags frozen beef meatballs
  • 3/4 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/2 cup seasoned rice vinegar
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp minced garlic
  • toasted sesame seeds for garnish
  • thinly sliced green onions for garnish

Instructions

  • Add all of the meatballs to the bowl of your crockpot.
  • Add the remaining ingredients, except for the garnish, to a mixing bowl. Whisk together until smooth.
  • Pour the sauce evenly out over top of the meatballs.
  • Cook the meatballs on low for 2-4 hours, stirring briefly every hour, until the meatballs are cooked through.
  • Gently stir the cooked meatballs a final time to coat them in the thick sauce.
  • Ladle the coated meatballs into a serving dish, and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  • You can also sprinkle the green onions out over top of the serving bowl, or wait and serve them over each individual portion.
  • Eat using forks or toothpicks. Enjoy!
