- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 large yellow onion chopped
- 6 large Russet potatoes cubed
- 1 cup beef stock
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Ketchup optional
Add ground beef and chopped onion to the inner pot of the Instant Pot. Cook on saute mode until beef has browned.
Add in the potatoes and remaining ingredients. Stir to combine.
Put the lid on the Instant Pot, with the pressure valve turned to sealing.
Set cooking time for a manual high pressure time of 4 minutes, allowing for a quick pressure release when the time has finished.
- Go for lean ground beef so you don't need to worry about draining the excess fat.
- Cut the potatoes into similarly sized pieces so they cook evenly.
