Ingredients

  • 5 frozen bananas
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/3 cup grape jelly

Instructions

  • Put the peanut butter into a blender or food processor.
  • Add the frozen bananas.
  • Blend on high for several minutes, or until you’re sure the bananas and peanut butter are fully processed and incorporated, making sure to scrape the sides as you go, and the mixture is creamy.
  • Transfer to a freezer safe dish and use a spatula to gently fold in the jelly, but not fully stirring them together. You want ribbons of jelly throughout.
  • Enjoy immediately for a soft serve ice cream or seal the dish & freeze overnight for firm ice cream.

Notes

  • Make sure to thaw peanut butter and jelly ice cream on the counter for 15 minutes or so prior to serving because it will harden in the freezer.
  • You can substitute any kind of jelly you like.
  • Don't use natural style peanut butter. It won't incorporate as well.
