Homemade Boursin Cheese

- 1 8 oz pkg cream cheese softened
- 1 stick salted butter softened
- 2 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 tsp dried oregano
- 1/2 tsp dried basil
- 1/2 tsp dried thyme
- 1/2 tsp dried chives
- 1/4 tsp dried tarragon
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/4 tsp freshly ground black pepper
Add all of the ingredients to a medium sized mixing bowl.
Using a hand mixer, whip them together until evenly combined & smooth.
Serve the soft cheese at room temperature with crisp vegetables and/or crackers.
- Allow the cheese and butter to come up to room temperature before mixing.
- For best flavor, use freshly minced or crushed garlic.
- You can easily double this recipe, just make sure you double all the ingredients.
