In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the butter, crisco, and both sugars. Whip until smooth.
Add in eggs, one at at a time, and the vanilla. Mixing, just until smooth and incorporated.
In a separate, large mixing bowl add the flour, soda, baking powder, salt, and cocoa powder. Use a fork, and mix until evenly incorporated.
Stir in the butter mixture until evenly combined. Stir in the candies until evenly combined.
Roll 2 tbsp worth of dough together into a ball. Place it onto a baking tray prepared with non stick spray or a baking sheet. Repeat and account for spreading with placement. If you want a pretty presentation, press an egg and a few chocolate chips into the top of the cookie dough.
Bake the cookies at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
